1954 Plymouth Belvedere Sniper – Car of the Week

This weeks car is a customized 1954 Plymouth Belvedere which has been given the name Sniper. This amazing custom car was designed by Chip Foose and built by Troy Trepanier.

One of the main features of this restored Belvedere is what sits under the hood, a Dodge Viper V10 engine that kicks out 480 HP.

This cool car started of as a 1954 Chrysler Belvedere convertible but during the customization process received many new parts from other makes, the chassis was actually hand built with the suspension being taken from a 97 Viper along with the engine and transmission.

This custom 1954 Plymouth has been awarded many awards and was sold at the Barret Jackson auctions for $162.000 back in 2002.
