So now its official the Lexus LF-A is finally here. Its currently on display at the 2009 Tokyo Motorshow.

I wrote an article about the possibility of the Lexus LF-A heading for production by 2011 and it has been confirmed at the 2009 Tokyo Motorshow.

Lexus will only be making 500 of these sports cars and prices will be a hefty $375,000 (£225,000). Even with this big price tag rumours are Lexus will be making these powerful cars at a loss.

At this price it makes this Lexus more expensive than supercars like the Ferrari 599 and a Lamborghini Murcielago. What would you rather spend a quarter of a million pounds on a Lexus or a Ferrari?
