Aston Martin releases photos of the new Cygnet

Yes its hard to believe but this is an Aston Martin and its called Cygnet.

Aston Martin have teamed up with Toyota to create this economical small car. Using the Toyota IQ as a base platform, Aston plan to ship the little Japanese cars over to the UK before adding their own special touch.

You can see the Cygnet gets the classic Aston front grill and lights but there will be no chance of a V8 crammed into this little car, instead it will be powered by a 1.3 litre engine with just 99bhp.

Work on this concept car is still ongoing and Aston Martin are planning on it being ready in 2010.
