Modified 1970 Plymouth Barracuda hits 208mph
A team at Legendary Motorcar have built a muscle car to rival the world’s most exotic super cars.
The team have worked for two years on this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and have seen it evolve from a rusty shell to the awesome monster muscle car.
The Plymouth Cuda was unveiled at the SEMA motor show in Las Vegas but more recently it has proved itself by matching the performance of an Enzo Ferrari in a supercar shootout.
Chrysler agreed to let the super Cuda run on their high banked oval at the storied Chelsea proving grounds.
On December the 1st, the Plymouth Barracuda impressed the engineers at Chelsea and was cleared to run on the track. Grey skies and the threat of snow gave way to sun. As the track warmed, speeds increased and the Barracuda hit an impressive 208 mph with still more power to spare.
