BMW TV have released a short video about their art cars. The first BMW Art Car, famous artist Alexander Calder painted in 1975. In the years that followed the unique Collection grew bigger and bigger. Artists like Stella, Lichtenstein, Warhol and Koons turned BMW cars into BMW Art Cars.

In 1964 the American muscle car era begin with Pontiac releasing the GTO. In 1965 Dodge designed the Charger concept car in an attempt to join the Muscle car market. It received positive response at Auto shows and production was soon after approved.
