Delorean gets buffed up

Delorean owner John McCarty has started a new trend polishing his car to a mirror finish.

John spent about forty hours per panel hand polishing the car’s stainless steel body panels to ultimate perfection, some sections took as much as four hours per square inch. It just goes to show how much spare time some people.

He started with 400 grit wet sandpaper and finished buffing with a diamond polishing paste.

The Delorean became famous after starring in the blockbuster movies Back to the future 1, 2 and 3. It was never a great car but people loved it due to its sporty styling and gullwing doors.

Here is another Delorean owner giving his car the polished treatment.

I don’t really get how irreparably damaging every panel is a good idea.
That is such a unique idea; I like it! Of course I would need to have sunglasses on to get anywhere near it though. LOL; Nice Job my friend, I really like it.
