Scottish police are patrolling the streets in style after they recently seized a pimped-out Audi Q7 from a criminal gang.

Police from Strathclyde, near Glasgow, are using the luxury Audi Q7 to combat crime and anti-social behavior.

The car was recovered during a criminal investigation and is now covered with the Strathclyde Police livery. Assistant chief constable John Neilson says that the seizure and use of cars used by organized crime is hitting the criminals where it hurts.

“This is a first for Strathclyde Police, but it certainly won’t be the last. As you can clearly see, we are proactively seizing your assets,” he says. “I would say to the criminals that what you have this week; your houses, your cars – you might not have next week.

“The hard working, law abiding citizens need to know that we are hurting those involved in serious and organized crime where it matters, their pockets.

“These criminals are fast realizing that they are not above the law. They may think that they are getting away with it, but we are determined to make a long-term impact in this area.”

Scottish parliamentarian Kenny MacAskill says the eye-catching luxury car will send a serious message to organised criminals.

“For too long, gangsters have used flash cars as a very visible symbol of their supposed power over their communities.

They are paid for with dirty money and fueled by the blood, sweat and tears of decent people. This car has now become a symbol of something else, the tide that is turning against the gangsters.

Audi have released a mini documentary video showing what was happening on their stand at the Geneva auto show this year.

One of the highlights at the Audi stand was when singer Justin Timberlake introduced the new Audi A1 to the world.

Austrian designer Adriano Mudri has created this design project which aims to show customers what the future Audi roadsters may look like.

The Audi RS7 concept has been designed using features from various cars in the Volkswagen group.

The hood and descending character lines passing over the front wheels and into the doors are from the sporty SEAT range, the scissor doors are off a Lamborghini Murcielago and the rear end is taken from the Audi R8.

One of the most distinctive exterior accessories are the LED headlights, which have already become a standard for Audi cars.

Pagani has released a new promotional video for the Zonda R which shows the incredible supercar on the track.

The Pagani Zonda R is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine from AMG. It kicks out 750 hp and it can hit 60mph (100km/h) in an amazing 2.7 seconds. These statistics show its more of a hypercar than a supercar, the only downside is it will cost around 1.5 million Euros to buy.

Audi have released a great video showing a rendering sequence of the R8 V10 in CGI.

The video gives a much closer look at the supercar letting you view the car in detail and the soundtrack is an original beat by “Audi Corporate Sound”. Enjoy!

Porsche boss, Mr. Michael Macht has announced that the German firm will be building the 918 Spyder hybrid.

The new sports car was unveiled to a surprised audience at this years Geneva auto show.

The Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid can accelerate from 0-60mph (100 km/h) in just under 3.2 seconds, it has a top speed of more than 198mph (320 km/h), and has a lap time around the Nürburgring Nordschleife in less than 7:30 minutes – faster than the Porsche Carrera GT.

Porsche tuners speedART have released details and pictures of their latest project the BTR-II 650 EVO Porsche 911 Turbo.

The modification on the Porsche 911 Turbo include custom wheels and suspension, custom body kit, as well as enhanced power.

The body kit consists of a new designed front bumper with spoiler lip and gun-metal frames which helps increase the downforce and cools the brakes more efficiently. It also features new designed side skirts, rear diffuser and a rear spoiler with movable rear wing which is available in car color or original carbon.

As for the interior, speedART are customizing this sports car with a unique sport steering wheel for all models which include F1 shift paddles. The standard Porsche seats have been replaced by leather sport seats.

Speedart have tuned up the 3.8-liter engine to 650hp, thats 150 horsepower more than the standard Porsche 911 Turbo. The custom car can accelerate from 0-60mph (100 km/h) in 3,2 seconds and has a top speed of over 205mph (330 km/h).
