Fossil Fuel Vehicles maybe banned in Europe by 2050

by

According to recent reports the EU have called for a 50% reduction of fossil fuel vehicles by 2030 and a complete ban by 2050.

The decision was made to try and prevent the ever growing problem of global warming, Ford has apparently objected to the plan, which it describes as “well intentioned” but ineffectual in addressing the actual environmental and congestion issues facing cities in the EU. Ford suggested that the EU should concentrate more on improving the existing infrastructure in urban areas to better accommodate the forever increasing commuter population.

Other automakers are expected to join Ford in voicing their opinions and convince the politicians and environmentalists behind the movement otherwise.

So if you been saving up to buy a V8 gas guzzling muscle car then maybe you should purchase sooner than later before petrol engines become just a memory from the past.

Do you think the EU is right to ban fossil fuel vehicles by 2050?
