Honda HSV-010 race car undergoes testing

This is the Honda HSV-010, a V8 powered super race car that is set to take part in Japan’s GT500 series this year.
HSV-010 stands for Honda Sports Velocity. It is based on the chassis of Honda’s NSX, it weighs in at 1100kg and its 3.4 litre V8 engine kicks out around 500bhp.

The HSV-010 will be racing for the first time at the GT500 season opener at Suzuka on 20-21 March.
Watch the video below of Honda’s race car in testing and see if you agree with me that it sounds like a Formula one car.
