Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell review: Video
The British reporters from AutoExpress have released a new video reviewing the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell. This electric supercar is actually 400 kg heavier than the V8 engine version and produces less horsepower.
However, the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell does have a trick up its sleeve and that’s the torque. The electric motor sitting under the hood develops 392 kW and 880 Nm of torque, which is available instantly.
The official performance figures are about the same as the petrol version. The Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell needs just 4 seconds to reach 100 km/h and does it while producing zero emissions.
No news yet if the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell will ever make it to production.
