BMW unveiled their Mini Coupe concept car and surprised their fans by also unveiling the Mini coupe roadster at this years Frankfurt motor show.

The 2 small cars both come with a 1.6 litre turbo engine which can produce up to 208 bhp.

It has been stated by BMW management these 2 seat models will be going into production at the Mini plant in Oxford U.K. Being a former employee of Mini Oxford I can imagine that many of my former associates at the plant will be excited about these new models.

These 2 little fast cars will be competing in the same market as the Audi TT.

Both cars have been designed to celebrate Mini’s 50th anniversary.
