When you win races you gain money which then can be used for purchasing new cars or upgrading your current cars.

Need for speed SHIFT has a new cockpit view so now gamers can race from the drivers perspective. The interior of the cars is extremely realistic with so much detail.

Need for Speed SHIFT is the closest you may get to the experience of driving a Porsche 911 GT-3, and with the True Driver’s Experience, you get the full race treatment.

An active Heads-Up-Display (HUD) mimics the driver’s head movement, G-forces and physics that go into blasting around corners in your dream car.

Put your foot to the floor and you’ll see the depth-of-field shift further out, putting the cockpit out of focus and making your speedster more difficult to control, adding a realistic, simulation feel to the racing engine of SHIFT.

You’ll feel like you’ve taken damage with every flip, fender-bender and head-on collision in SHIFT as your driver is disoriented and briefly shaken up by the sounds of metal twisting and glass shattering.

Need for Speed SHIFT has 72 of the fastest, most innovative and beautiful cars on the road today, as well as 19 beautifully-rendered tracks that can be raced more than 50 different ways, including Donington Park and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Sit your driver down in any of the cars in SHIFT and you’ll see how many thousands of hours went into designing the interiors of your favorite car. From the trademark blue-red color mosaic in the Volkswagen GTI’s gages to the swooping arches of the Mazda RX-8s audio system, it’s all there.

Need for speed SHIFT has been achieving high scores with the gaming press, IGN.com gave SHIFT a 9.0/10 score and the Editors’ Choice Award, calling it “a glorious return to greatness,” and The Official Xbox Magazine gave the game a 9/10, saying SHIFT is “..Literally the first time a videogame has ever made me think ‘Holy crap.. maybe I should slow down.’”

Need for Speed SHIFT is available now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and PSP.
