Porsche begins testing on electric Boxster prototypes
The development of the Porsche Boxster E has now reached the testing phase as Porsche begins trials on three electric Porsche Boxster models.
The Boxster E comes powered by a 29kWh battery that sends the juice to a pair of electric-motors which produces a combined output of 241 hp. Porsche have stated that the performance figures will be similar to the standard Porsche Boxster S, which accelerates from 0-62 mph in 5.3 seconds.
