Porsches new 911 GT3 R race car
Introducing the 911 GT3-R, Porsche’s replacement for the GT3 Cup S
This wide Porsche will be used for racing in the International GT motorsport.
It gets powered by a 4.0 litre engine that kicks out 480bhp, 30 more bhp than the Cup S and all that power is driven though a six speed gearbox.
An anti-lock braking system, traction control and an electronic throttle with ‘blip’ function on gearbox down-changes makes it more easier to drive than its predecessor.
Prices for this powerful sports car starts at £250,000 ( US$413,000).
The GT3-R will be on display at the Autosport show in Birmingham on 14th January 2010.
