Spyker intends to release 3 new Saab models

Spyker is hoping to bring Saab back to a profitable company by 2012. They are also intending to release an all new 9-3, 9-4x crossover and add a new fourth car line.
According to a recent statement released by the Swedish brand’s new owners. The all new 9-3 will be released in 2012, the 9-4X crossover next year and possibly a fourth car line sometime in the future.
To pull this off Spyker will require additional funding, they will be recieving $326 million from former owner General Motors, $558 million from the European Investment Bank, and the rest from various bank sources.
The fourth car line that Spyker are considering will be the 9-1 small car provided that the positive development of the smaller car segment continues.
There are also rumors that the executives have decided to change the auto maker’s name to Spyker Automobiles NV, with each operating as separate entities.
More information will be released after Spyker’s annual shareholder’s meeting on February 12.
