Toyota and Subaru have got together to produce the ft-86

Car manufacturers Toyota and Subaru have combined resources to create the sports coupe FT-86 Concept.

This sports car will be rear wheel driven and powered by a Subaru 2.0 litre boxer engine which gives 146bhp. Toyota and Subaru and have not given specifications as yet.

The FT-86 will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show later this year and production for this model is scheduled to start sometime next year with sales starting in 2011 with a price tag of around £20,000 ( $32,000).
