Vermot AG Veritas RS III roadster

After more than 60 years Vermot AG hits the road with their racer sports car the Veritas RS III Roadster and pays adequate tribute to its legendary ancestors.

Its low weight of 1,080kg (2,381lbs) comes about because the vehicle is made from a lightweight carbon fiber body and a tubular frame structure.

The Veritas RS III Roadster is powered by a BMW 5.0litre V10 which produces 507bhp. It can reach a top speed of 216mph (347km/h) and goes 0-60mph (100km/h) in less than 3.2 seconds. This powerful motor comes with an optional 7 speed automatic transmission or a 6 speed manual.

The vehicle is a 1+1 seater, with a hidden second seat, and has no windshield and the maker Vermot AG, has stated there will only be 30 of these special dream sport cars made with eight already sold.

Every Veritas RS III is handmade at their German Nürburgring site and it takes about eight weeks for their team of fifteen workers to complete one car.

This monster faced racer also comes with a monster price of US$514,706 (€345,000) ( £314,402). Deliveries of this unusual 2 seater monster racer started in January 2010.
