Volkswagen Scirocco Rally Car
VW has released the first images of their Volkswagen Scirocco rally car which had its debut at the 2010 rally of Germany. The Volkswagen Scirocco rally car is based on the Cup-Scirocco R which is powered by bio natural gas.
The new racer was used as an opening car for the 2010 Germany Rally and was driven by WRC returnee Carlos Sainz (Spain) and Nasser Al-Attiyah (Qatar). The co-drivers of the Volkswagen Scirocco rally car were Lucas Cruz (Spain) and Timo Gottschalk (Germany).
The Volkswagen Scirocco rally car is powered by a 2.0-liter engine which outputs 275 hp while emitting 80% less CO2 in comparison to a standard car.
